By the time of 1969, Moriyaki completely left the band, and Takeshi Nakamura remained more of a band's friend rather than a band member. Katoh, who was friends with Mizutani, and a skilled jazz drummer, had joined the band somewhere around 1968, sometimes passing the sticks to Mizutani's friend Tsutomu Matsumoto (there is only a single recording of that happening). Tada Takashi, a new bassist of the band, had joined just around 1969, when he was 16 years old, after a meeting with Mizutani and Nakamura. He showed his own interest in jazz and played a Hofner 500/1 bass guitar.
This way, by the spring of 1969, a new, "jazzy" Rallizes were formed. Coincidentially, all members' names were Takashi.
