"Sorry, I forgot about this real quick. Merry Christmas (to me). My sister Laura called. I answered this time but I didn't know what to say. I don't think I've had an actual conversation with her in over 2 years. Still, it was thoughtful of her and it is nice to hear from her despite everything. No matter, it still feels stupid I don't know how to talk to my own family. Seeing how others spend the holidays with their families is admittedly disheartening but that's okay. I'm thankful to have friends who are there for me in these times.

On a lighter note, I've met someone wonderful. His name is Jack. I sort of knew him from highschool but we never really talked back then. I bumped into him again at O'Flaherty's again a few months ago and we've been meeting up ever since. I really don't want to come off too strong but he is really incredible. A bit of an idiot but I do mean that will all the love in my heart ha! ha! I don't think I've ever felt quite as happy as I have in these past months with Jack. I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just so nice to be loved & understood by someone as kind and funny as him. I really needed this. That's all I have to say for the time being.

Note to self; potentially consider studying film. I don't know what will come of this but Jack brought it up as he's really into Hollywood motion pictures and everything. It could be fun I'll see. think on it."
