Description:
This marks the beginning of the end of the Dark Days. Most of District 13 was destroyed by atomic warfare and was labeled "uninhabitable due to excessive radiation". However, the surviving citizens of District 13 expanded their bunkers beneath the land to sustain their society, striking a deal with the Capitol that allowed them to remain free while supplying nuclear components and weaponry to the Capitol. As far as the rest of Panem knows, District 13 is radioactive and deserted.Added to timeline:
