Description:

The Institution Update was a major update to Inostropia that primarily aimed to make the country's institutional processes independent of InfinityZoom187 by automating them and allowing the respective officeholders to manage them directly. The main changes were:

1. The Constitution became accessible through the GUI.

2. Consuls were given the ability to modify Faction Laws directly through the GUI.

3. Senators were given the ability to modify National Laws directly through the GUI.

4. Candidacies were automated and would henceforth open five days before the first day of each month at 15:00 UTC.

5. Elections were automated and would henceforth begin three days before the first day of each month at 15:00 UTC.

6. Elections would automatically end and their results be counted on the first day of each month at 15:00 UTC.

7. The Consul, Senator, and Supreme Judge tags would henceforth be assigned and removed automatically, with the exception of some older Senator tags.

8. Despite the increased use of the GUI, voting in elections would continue to take place physically in the Election Hall at the Forum Inostropium rather than through the GUI.

9. The Fundamental Laws became permanently fixed and could no longer be altered by any individual, office, or institution.

10. Teleport-to-spawn and teleport-to-home buttons were added alongside each other in the GUI.

11. Requests to found new villages would henceforth be decided by the Senate through the GUI rather than being approved or rejected by a single Consul.
