Description:

This was the first Hunger Games to include the Cornucopia to house all of the weapons, food, and other supplies. The Cornucopia resembled that of a woven wicker cornucopia, just at a much larger scale. It fit well in the autumn forest landscape of this arena. This was also the first games to allow kids eligible for the reaping to apply for tesserae. One tessera equaled a year's supply of basic grain and oil for a single person, but they were required to add their name into the reaping pool as many times as the number of tesserae they requested.
