The Shoshone tribe got their first horses from the Spaniards. They were the first northern tribe to get horses. They traded with the Spaniards to get the horses. It made traveling a lot easier for them. They expanded their tribe all the way to Canada. They eventually got pushed back by the Black feet tribe.Clark Nielsen
