Description:

Largely as a result of their preaching the Nephites began to repent and to call on God. When Moronihah saw this he took courage and once again led the Nephites against the Lamanites. This second counter was much more successful than the first, and by the end of the year the Nephites had regained half of all the lands that the Lamanites had taken.
