Description:

Part of the Navigation Acts, it was a law banning goods from being exported, imported, or carried between English possessions in Asia, Africa, or the Americas, as well as being shipped to England or Wales by foreign ships. It placed further restrictions surrounding purchasing bonds for shipping, as well as paying customs duties. It was the last of the Navigations Acts.
