Description:

In 1933 the Reich Broadcasting Company was nationalised and taken over by Goebbles. The new cheap radios made sure that everyone would be able to hear Nazi propaganda. These radios couldn't pick up foreign broadcasts and by 1939 over 70% of German households had one.
Loudspeaker pillars were put up in public and workplaces had to have them too so all Nazi broadcasts could be heard wherever you were.

However, people would often put the radios on quitely and ignore them.
