Description:

recognized the principle of equality for all citizens for the law, right to chose profession, religious toleration, and abolishment of serfdom and feudalism. However it restored the power of fathers over the family, divorce was made harder for women, women were treated as minors in court, and all a women's property went to the husband after marriage.
