oct 4, 1911 - Double Tenth

Description:

A group of revolutionaries in Hankou accidentaly exploded a bomb that they were preparing for later use, which provided a signal for widespread revolt. Soldiers in Wuhan began the 'Double Tenth', a mutiny where they declared themselves independant of Manchu control. Yuan Shikai became the leader.
