jan 30, 1968 - Tet Offensive

Description:

-co-ordinated attack on 100 South Vietnamese towns/cities by North Vietnamese

-aim: incite rebellion in South

-surprised US + South Vietnamese forces, but soon beaten, & South recovered by 28th March

-fact that it was able to had big impact on morale (in Vietnam + USA)
