Hyperinflation (jan 1, 1923 – oct 31, 1923)

Description:

Germany was unable to afford passive resistance so they just printed more and more money and money became virtually worthless. People were unable to afford heating and food as prices rose faster than income. Pensioners on fixed incomes suffered and savings no longer had any value.
