The Southern Sea War (apr 6, 1576 – jul 26, 1576)

Velzenia claimed the islands of Halat, Alekav, Olnyes, and Tanat as well as the Slum Territory.

Velzenia annexed all claimed territories originally desired in the war.

As Javicia was again distracted, this time by the Viraseman Rebellion, Velzenia, once again, swooped in to take some land easily. As Javicia was extremely distracted by the threat of rebels attacking the capital of Nevashivi, Emperor Hiera II allowed Velzenia to annex all that it wanted in the war.

From 1534 onwards, King Eira and his sons started to redevelop Velzenia into a modern kingdom by rebuilding Atswam, Thes, and Anak and started construction on a new harbor city called Asurĩnta. They also further developed the Royal Army, making it into a formiddable force and when the Southern Sea War broke out, the Velzen Navy was conceived. The victory for Velzenia during the conflict was only because of the leading admiral, Pilosa Asurĩnta, who was considered to be one of the greatest ever born (the new city was granted his name because of his victory). Velzenia continued to prosper and thrive afterwards especially once the establishment of the Velzen Empire came to be.
