Ber Borochov (jan 1, 1881 – jan 1, 1917)

Description:

Ber Borochov was one of the main founders of Labor Zionism and tried to connect Zionism with socialist ideas. He argued that Jews needed their own homeland because exile had pushed them into unstable economic and social conditions, and only in the Land of Israel could they become a normal nation with workers, farmers, and a full society.
