Siege of Boston (apr 19, 1775 – mar 17, 1776)
Description:
The Siege of Boston began directly after the Battles of Lexington and Concord. The Continental Army trapped British troops in Boston and forced them out by sea. During the siege, the British attempted to break out of Boston, resulting the Battle of Bunker Hill. After George Washington took charge, he was able to organize the military and keep the British from escaping.Added to timeline:
