Battle of Yorktown (sep 28, 1781 – oct 19, 1781)

Description:

The decisive final major battle of the Revolutionary War, the Battle of Yorktown gained victory for Americans. American and French forces trapped British General Charles Cornwallis and forced him to surrender, effectively ending the war. This led to peace negotiations and the Treaty of Paris to end the war.
