Mycenaen Era (jan 1, 1600 BC – jan 1, 1100 BC)
Description:
Largely unified culture all around the Mediterranian during this period.
Pottery, Oil and other Mycenaen products were found all over the Aegean Sea, Egypt and Asia Minor. Trade by sea was the most important factor for this era.
Political organization was believed to be an imitation of oriental monarchies such as Egypt and Mesopotamia.
No evidence suggest any Laws in place other than the king, referred to as 'Wanax' who had full authority over economy, military, burocracy and religious culture.
Wanax = King of the kings
Basileus = Other Mycenean leaders
