Server activity logger (jul 13, 2026 – jul 24, 2026)

Description:

A player named HaloCrynn developed an add-on for the Inostropia server that allowed the server owner, InfinityZoom187, to review various server log files. These logs recorded:

- when and how players died
- who placed a block, as well as where and when
- who destroyed a block, as well as where and when
- who opened a chest, as well as where and when
- who took which items from a chest, as well as where and when

The goal was to significantly improve the server's ability to protect against illegal griefing and theft by making it much easier to investigate incidents and identify offenders. However, this approach ultimately failed because the server console displayed only a limited number of log entries. In most cases, it showed only player actions from the previous few minutes, which was far from sufficient for investigating griefing or theft that had occurred earlier. As a result, the logger was removed just eleven days after it had been installed.
