"In May of 2005, Oklahoma was struck by an unusually violent tornado outbreak. Eyewitnesses reported seeing glowing lights within the funnels of these tornadoes, sparking online discussion. Hunter Graves, a meteorology student from Texas A&M, analyzed the storm systems and discovered unusual patterns within the conditions surrounding the storms. It appeared that an underlying phenomenon was responsible. The Hydra Theory, as theorized by Graves, states that violent tornado patterns, including tornado outbreaks, are connected through an underlying phenomen. Currently, not much is known about this phenomenon other than the appearance of green glowing lights that accompany the affected storm systems.
