Ĩzír Šañgãth was the leader of the largest anti-fascist Ipethis group, the White Cobras, and was a major contributor to the victory over the 2nd Velzen Republic. He was an easy choice for Yaloskiriv who, at first, placed him as the interim governor of Ipethis. Šañgãth won his election in 1970, thus proving his popularity of his people.
