After the annexation of the Velzen Republic by Oipienta, Velzen Tsivgal Pilos Ísrico was ousted from power. The Oipientian government chose Oipientian commander Viãro Íthmĩrva as the interim governor of the state due to his Velzen roots. Initially, he was very disliked by his citizens and he survived three assassination attempts. However, despite his lack of popularity, he was given a noticeable amount of power granted by the Oipientian Senate in order to properly "recivilize" the region, alongside the other governors in the area. By his 4th year, he had almost completely redeveloped the Ipethis State into modern standards and crime was at an all-time low since the start of the 4th Hells war. This gave him a massive boost in popularity and this allowed him to win his election in 1938. All the interim governors of the Velzen regions were required to do a vote by plebiscite in order to see if they would remain or a new election was to occur in the following year with different candidates. Íthmĩrva was one of the few that won his vote and was allowed to remain for the next 5 years. However, he won his reelection in 1943, granting him another 10 years in power, making him the longest ruling governor in modern Oipientian and Velzen history as he held his title for about 20 years.
