The Battle of Britain, started on July 10th, 1940, ending on October 31st in the same year, happening in Great Britain (Scotland and England), primarily England though. It involved the Royal Air Force of Great Britain (RAF), and the German air force called the ‘Luftwaffe’. In the battle, Great Britain had to defend themselves from air raids from the German air force, and even though they were outnumbered, the RAF managed to pull through and win the war for Great Britain. This led to the German’s planned raid of Britain being put on hold, which was important because Great Britain was now safe, and could help their allies.Added to timeline:
