Operation Postmaster (jan 14, 1942 – jan 15, 1942)

Description:

Planning of Operation Postmaster started in 1941, the plan being executed on the 14th and 15th of January, 1942, taking place in Bioko in Equatorial Guinea, Africa (used to be known as Fernando Po). Countries involved where Britain with their army personnel planning and executing the operation, Germany and Italy being the main targets, and the operation happening in Spanish land, a neutral country. The plan was to border and secure the ships out of the country, and after a few difficulties, they managed to. Britain winning this operation, because by stealing the ships the German U-boats could no longer be supported, and the success of this operation showed the world that Britain is reliable in war.
